Curriculum Vitae:

Andrés Pantoja had given recitals in the more importants theaters and Festivals, radio programs and TV throughout Chile.
He studied with Edith Vásquez, Oscar Olhsen and Luis Orlandini. He got the Guitar Performer degree in 2005. The same year receive the First Prize in “The 6° National Guitar Competition Liliana Pérez Corey” and other First Prize by “The best chilean music performance.”
He had taken part in several chamber groups, and now he conduct the “Cuarteto Latinoamericano de Guitarras” and “Aksak Tacet Ensamble”(contemporary music). Also Andrés is a permanent member of Ensemble Nuevo (Goethe Institut and Alois Kott initiative), with musicians from different countries: Germany, Venezuela, Argentina, Brasil and Chile.
His discography contain two CDs, one of them soloist (Winners from 5° National Guitar Competition “Liliana Perez Corey”) with two works of Brouwer: Sonata I and Hika; and the second with the Cuarteto Latinoamericano De Guitarras (Cd called “MOSAICO”) with works of Bach, Brouwer, Bizet and Piazzolla. Actually Andrés together Aksak Tacet Ensamble is recording his third CD with duo guitars works like Sonata Fantasía (Dusan Bogdanovic) and Persuonare a Due (L. Brouwer).
Since 2006 he is the guitar teacher of “Academia de Artes Casona la Florida” in Santiago, Chile.
